Banzo Gelato is a web-based brand specializing in vegan, non-dairy, all-natural gelato with unique, quirky flavors. Made with responsibly sourced ingredients, eco-friendly packaging, and a commitment to minimal waste, Banzo offers a guilt-free indulgence for health-conscious, eco-aware Millennials and Gen Z—whether vegan, plant-curious, or simply foodies looking for something different.

The challenge was to position Banzo as a high-end yet approachable brand, proving that plant-based gelato can be just as rich, creamy, and satisfying as its traditional counterpart. The solution? Chickpeas. his unexpected ingredient not only adds protein but also serves as the foundation for Banzo’s identity.

The concept leans into the playful contrast between the humble chickpea and its transformative potential. This inspired a bold visual identity, engaging language, and a lively mascot—Banzo—who embodies the brand’s fun, adventurous spirit. The result is a brand that redefines plant-based indulgence, turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.
